There are three parts in this book. The first part describes woody starch plants resources. Total 242 species in 21 families are mentioned. For each species the morphology, growth characteristics and distribution are introduced. The second part introduces cultivation of the woody starch plants. In this part, the seeding and breeding, the cultivation, the prevention and cure of diseases and pests of major woody starch plants are introduced systematically as a supplement to the first part. The processing of the woody plants and the physics and chemistry characters and processing methods are included in the third part.
